Fundy Referee Courses A Refresher course (evening) will be offered May 28th from 6-9pm at 100 Spring Street Amherst. If you are unable to attend please go to Soccer NS website to find another location that fits your schedule.  For new referees, an Entry Level Course will be held May 27 and 28th. For more information contact fundysoccer@eastlink.ca Entry Level Course - Truro Truro is hosting an Entry Level Referee Course at Bible Hill Jr High on May 6-7, both days 9am to 5p, Contact Art Oldreive for information.

Referee Refresher Course - Truro Truro will host a Referee Refresher course on Apr 19, 2017, from 6-10pm. The session is being held in the Truro Police building - to get to the community room you need to enter the main door and push the buzzer to enter. Then proceed to the second floor. The course is required for all referees who are currently SNS certified. Anyone who is taking the entry level course this year doesn't need to attend.

Referee Refresher Course - Antigonish On Saturday evening, April 8th, 2017 Antigonish will host a refresher course starting at 6:00pm.   The session is being held in classroom 104 of the Oland Centre.

Community Referee Course - Truro CC Riders Soccer Club will be hosting our Community Recreational League Referee Course on Saturday, May 6, 2017.   New individuals that are interested in refereeing U8, U10 and U13 community league soccer must attend this course to qualify and returning referees are strongly encouraged to attend to refresh their skills.   Course Details Date: Saturday, May 6, 2017 Time: 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Location: Truro Junior High School Cost: No cost What to Bring/Wear: Referee whistle, wear comfortable/athletic clothing and shoes, and bring a soccer ball if you have one Who Should Attend: Past Community League referees for a refresher and new individuals that are interested in refereeing this summer!   Please RSVP by email to admin@riderssoccer.ca with the referee’s name, email and phone number if you plan to attend so that we can plan for numbers!   Please be aware that that all cars must park in the parking lot or bus loop at TJHS. Soccer NS Referee Certification Course - Antigonish TWEET!!!!! Officials Make Sport Better – Become One Today Over the weekend of April 7th, 8th and 9th Soccer Nova Scotia Referee Development Committee Instructors will be offering an ENTRY LEVEL CERTIFICATION course for new soccer officials. Requirements:  Age 14 by April 7th.  Desire to learn.   New officials will learn about the Laws of the Game, Mechanics and Positions, along with Teamwork skills.  You will be exposed to classroom based sessions, video sessions, and practical ‘on-field’ training over the weekend course.   This ENTRY LEVEL course for new soccer officials will be held in classroom 104 of the Oland Centre on the campus of St Francis Xavier University.  Clinic cost and annual registration fee for the 2017 outdoor season is $135   To register for the HIGHLAND region ENTRY LEVEL referee course please go to http://www.soccerns.ns.ca/referees/training-courses/   If you have questions for concerns regarding this entry level or any referee issue in the Highland region please feel free to contact Geoff Spencer at (902) 863 8848 or geoffrey_spencer@hotmail.com
